Merrimac Baseball is a non-profit youth baseball organization.  We have different programs for children between the ages of 3 and 12. 

We start with Little Sluggers (Ages 3+) which introduces the baseball field, base running, throwing and fielding.

Next is T-ball (Ages 4-6) where kids are assigned to teams and each week they have a 30 minute practice followed by a 30 minute game with other Merrimac teams.

Coach pitch (Grade 1) continues building on the fundamentals of baseball, and start expanding the scope of the rules followed during the games.

Player pitch (Grade 2) introduces pitching and also introduces umpires into the mix.  We start playing teams from other local area towns at this level.

Minors (Grades 3-4) follows the rules of baseball with some minor modifications.  The teams playin the Intertown Baseball League (ITBL) and play games a few times a week.

Majors (Grades 5-6) the final level of the program is very similar to the minors, but uses a slightly larger playing field and less rules modifications.
